mobex webinar

Webinar replay: Unleashing the potential of lightweight construction by using appropriate connections between composite materials and metals

Watch our presentation powered by Mobex by Automotive World on November 16th, 2021

Abstract: Tobias Speth and Sebastian Klein explain how the combination of composite materials with metal parts can be enabled by increasing the static friction coefficient. The speakers will back their presentation with a case study that demonstrates how Friction Inserts from Freudenberg were utilized in a safety-relevant component – namely the front-end module – to reduce for example the weight of the entire module by over 30%.

mobex webinar

Webinar replay: How friction enhancement enables lightweight construction for lower fuel consumption and fewer emissions

Watch our presentation at Mobex by Automotive World HEV innovation virtual summit on March 16th, 2021.

Abstract: Freudenberg's Jan-Hendrik Kettemann and Tobias Speth explain how the company's Friction Inserts enable superior efficiency with lighter components by transmitting higher forces into the joints of engine, powertrain or chassis components. In particular, participants will gain deep insight into the possibilities in shaft-hub and shaft-to-shaft connections.
